Even though Lucas and Peyton were supposed to be this ‘meant for each other’ kind of couple, I never felt any chemistry between them. The writers of the show were way too busy having each of them playing chase with each other than building any chemistry between them.

I don’t ship Lucas and Peyton because “it has always been them” or because “they were meant to be together from the pilot” or even because they were endgame. I ship them because they were unique, their story touched my heart and they stood out from many couples I’ve seen on television. Simple as that.
